Restore should be avoided as long as there is no other way to get your data. Restore operation clear up all your existing data and re-create your database with the new cases in new file.
How it works:
1. You go to the menu and select "Advanced Settings" menu option.
2. Select "Restore Database" and type your email id to confirm this operation.
3. Locate the file in your sd card and click on it.
